System 500 replaces the traditional hanging saddle bag with a rigid Aero Pack shaped to sit cleanly in the space behind the rider. Its streamlined form is designed to minimize aerodynamic disruption while giving everyday riders, performance cyclists and racers useful storage capacity.

Radar Integration — Not Radar Competition

Traditional saddle bags and rear-mounted electronics often compete for the same limited space behind the saddle.

System 500 turns the radar into part of the storage system.

Select an interchangeable Aero Pack Door designed for your compatible radar system and position the radar directly at the rear of the Aero Pack. Riders who don't use radar can select the clean Blank Door.

Interchangeable Aero Pack Doors

The System 500 body isn't tied permanently to one electronics configuration.

Interchangeable rear doors allow the Aero Pack to be configured for compatible radar systems or used without radar. If your equipment changes later, the door can be changed without replacing the complete Aero Pack.

Rigid Aluminum Saddle Mounting

System 500 mounts to the saddle rails using the included aluminum mounting bracket and GoPro-style interface.

The rigid mounting architecture helps keep the Aero Pack aligned with the bicycle and eliminates the hanging straps and movement associated with many conventional soft saddle bags.

Full-Size Rear Access

Instead of reaching through a small zipper opening, remove the System 500 rear door for direct access to the storage compartment.

The large opening makes packing, organizing and retrieving ride essentials simple.

Quiet, Organized Cargo

A rigid storage compartment shouldn't mean loose tools rattling around inside.

System 500 includes a soft zip organizer plus foam pieces that can be used to organize, cushion and secure the contents of the Aero Pack.

Modular and Serviceable

How much does the System 500 hold?

System 500 provides 500 mL of internal storage capacity with a maximum recommended cargo load of 500 g.

Does the System 500 include the radar?

No. The compatible radar unit is sold separately. Select the appropriate System 500 Aero Pack Door for the radar you already own or plan to use.

Can I use System 500 without a radar?

Yes. Select the Blank Aero Pack Door for a clean storage-only configuration.

Can I change radar systems later?

Yes. The rear door is interchangeable. A compatible System 500 Aero Pack Door can be purchased separately, allowing you to reconfigure the same Aero Pack Body for another supported radar system.

Can individual System 500 parts be replaced?

Yes. The Body, Aero Pack Doors and saddle mounting bracket are available individually. This modular construction allows damaged or changed components to be replaced without purchasing an entirely new System 500.

Is System 500 aerodynamic?

System 500 has a streamlined shape and is positioned beneath and behind the saddle to minimize unnecessary aerodynamic disruption. Its aerodynamic form is intentional; however, Prestacycle does not publish specific drag-reduction claims because the System 500 has not yet undergone controlled aerodynamic testing.

Why buy the Complete System instead of the individual components?

The Complete System provides everything needed for a System 500 installation at a discounted package price. At current individual pricing, the $89 Body, $49 Door and $15 mounting bracket total $153 when purchased separately. The Complete System is $129, saving $24.

Compatibility

System 500 attaches beneath the saddle using the included aluminum saddle-rail mounting bracket. The bracket faceplate can be installed in either orientation to provide different vertical positioning. The aluminum mounting rails extending from the Aero Pack can also be reversed to provide different fore/aft mounting positions.

Saddle compatibility: Designed for standard-diameter round saddle rails that rise and widen from the clamping area. System 500 uses a GoPro-style attachment interface, so other mounting solutions may also be compatible. Because of the weight and dimensions of the loaded Aero Pack, Prestacycle recommends using only metal mounting hardware capable of adequately supporting the system.

Available interchangeable doors support selected Garmin Varia, Wahoo TRACKR, Magene and Cycplus radar systems.

Because bicycle frames, saddles, seatposts and rear-wheel clearances vary, adequate clearance between the installed Aero Pack and bicycle must be confirmed before riding.

Mounting Position

The saddle-rail bracket and Aero Pack mounting rails provide multiple installation positions to accommodate different saddles and bicycle geometries. Choose the position that provides secure mounting and adequate clearance from the seatpost, rear wheel, frame and other components.

Before riding, verify that all mounting hardware is securely tightened and that the Aero Pack cannot contact the rear wheel throughout normal bicycle use.

Prestacycle 1-Year Limited Warranty

The Prestacycle System 500 Aero Pack is warranted to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from crashes, impacts, improper installation, incompatible components, modification, misuse, overloading, normal wear or other damage unrelated to a manufacturing defect.

Prestacycle may repair or replace a qualifying defective component at its discretion.

Crash damage is not covered by the product warranty.

Prestacycle may offer a separate crash-replacement program for System Aero Pack components. Crash-replacement availability, eligibility and replacement cost are governed by the terms of that program and are separate from warranty coverage.
