NEW PATENTED PRO Presta Head

Our new pro Presta head offers a Patented auto-lock mechanism.  As you slide the head onto the Presta valve, the mechanism grabs onto the Presta pin without pulling or twisting.  A seal is made on the Presta valve WITHOUT clamping the valve.  Easy-grip sides make it simple to press the red button on the top of the head which provides full release of the connection without pulling on the valve or the core.  Instant no-loss disconnect insures tire pressure is exactly what you put in there.

The new Prestaflator Digital is made possible by our new Rapid Response™ Digital Gauge.  During inflation, the gauge is capable of showing immediate changes in pressure, enabling fast inflation – now with supreme accuracy. The gauge uses highly accurate, non-wearing circuitry for pressure readings, so it does not wear-out or loose accuracy like traditional Dial gauges.  Highly accurate readings are across the whole range, making this tool excellent for Fat Tire, Cyclocross, MTB as well as Road Bikes.  Easy screwdriver replacement of the two CR2032 batteries (included).

The Prestaflator is designed with a long-throw trigger valve. Use a light squeeze or brief, rapid shots to gently inflate Bike tires to your desired pressure over a few seconds. A full squeeze on the trigger provides maximum pressure for seating tubeless tires. Designed for MTB & Road tires with a wide range of pressure requirements.

1way / 2way Presta Inflation Head inside.

Inside the Prestaflator head is our 1 way / 2 way Spin-on Presta design for inflating and deflating tires with traditional Presta valves. A few quick turns secures the head to the cap threads on the Presta valve and provides an air-tight seal. It has an internal sliding-action. Push the hose towards the head to push the Presta valve air release button without removing the head. This allows the Prestaflator to take a tire pressure reading without being connected to an Air Compressor. It can also let air out of the tire by simultaneously pushing the hose and pressing the air release button on the side of the Prestaflator handle. When you inflate or take a pressure reading, the head automatically slides back away from the Presta button. This returns the Presta valve to it’s natural one-way operation. This means there’s absolutely NO pressure loss when you disconnect the head from the tire.

Quality

Prestaflator is engineered specifically for the needs of bicycles and bicyclists. Only top quality materials are used for it’s components. We start with a cast Aluminum body and give it a bead blasted finish. Next we use 6061-T6 Alloy, Chrome and Stainless Steel components for all connectors and moving parts. The hose is made of reinforced polyurethane. It’s 3X more flexible than our original Black hose and is rated for 300 PSI of continuous use. Smooth alloy clamps on the hose are more comfortable for use of the spinner head and are corrosion resistant.

Prestaflator’s unique variable-rate trigger plunger is long and narrow. Behind the trigger is a high-force spring. This allows the user to more easily regulate very small amounts of air to reach the exact pressure desired in even the smallest racing tires.

Serviceability

Prestaflator is designed to offer years of reliable service. The body has a ¼” male threaded adapter so you can install many types of connectors. It comes with the most commonly-used ¼” I/M Quick Coupler in the box and ready to install with no tape or glue needed.

The hose, trigger and pressure release mechanisms are all threaded and installed using #7 O-Rings. They can all be removed and serviced with a 14 mm wrench. We offer rebuild kits so you can service and maintain your Prestaflator anytime.

The Presta / Schrader heads and couplers are made of 6061-T6 Alloy. They’re as strong as Brass, but only 1/3 the weight. This is no place for plastic. Drop your hose on the concrete with plastic pump heads and they could break. The Presta head connects to your tire valve with our new improved easy-on easy-off “Urethane pump head gasket”. Replacements are available on our website or through any cycling supply source.

Q. What is the difference between this and the non Pro Digital Prestaflator?

This contains all the great features of the standard digital model, 77091, but also includes the Pro presta head, our top rated and best selling presta valve head, which has a value of $39 when bought separately making the pro digital a great option for getting the best possible compressor set up.  

Q: Do I need an air compressor to use a Prestaflator? 

A: Yes, all Prestaflator compressor-based models require an air compressor with a quick-release connector and air hose. The maximum air pressure is limited by your compressor's capabilities. For portable, battery-powered options, see our Prestaflator GO models. 

Q: What valve types do Prestaflator tools work with? 

A: All Prestaflator models work with both Presta and Schrader valves. Our Pro Presta Head also works with Clik valves

Q: Can I use Prestaflator for tubeless tire setup? 

A: Yes! All models feature variable or medium flow triggers for powerful blasts to seat tubeless tires. PRO and Digital models include our Quick-Click2™ or Big Angle Presta Head specifically designed for tubeless applications with or without valve cores removed. 

Q: Can I take tire pressure readings without inflating?

A: Yes! PRO and Digital models with the 2-way head allow you to check pressure without being connected to the compressor. Simply push the hose toward the head to activate the Presta valve.

Q: Can I use Prestaflator for low-pressure applications?

A: Yes! The variable trigger and accurate gauges (especially digital models) make Prestaflator excellent for low-pressure applications like fat bikes, beach cruisers, and air mattresses (with blower tip).

Q: What if my compressor uses a different connector type?

A: The Prestaflator body has a 1/4" male threaded adapter compatible with many connector types including I/M (included), Auto (T-style), ARO (A-style), UK, German, Euro, and Japanese. Simply swap thecoupler.

Prestaflator warrants all air tool products manufactured by Prestaflator to be free of defective material or workmanship for one (1) year, and under the conditions stated herein. This warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of product found to be defective. Prestaflator assumes no liability for loss due to failure of any product to perform satisfactorily. Prestaflator makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, except that of title. Any and all other warranties are expressly disclaimed.

This warranty applies under conditions of intended use and is exclusive of equipment subjected to: Failure to follow recommended assembly and service procedures, Lack of proper maintenance, excessive duty cycle, exposure to the elements, shipping damage and modification not authorized by Prestaflator. No warranty claims will be honored without prior authorization for repair from Prestaflator. Any replaced or repaired equipment will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty term only.
